You Can Help

  • By supporting us and buying a SunRice pack.
  • By participating through the schools competition – Children Helping Children, where SunRice will provide funding for additional vaccine doses.
  • You can also donate to UNICEF for any of their current appeals.

Buying a SunRice Pack

SunRice is a simple choice when you look for quality rice and you will be supporting an Australian company that is caring for children less fortunate than ours. By putting SunRice packs in your trolley you will contribute to the program, give children the chance of a longer healthier life, and you will make a difference.

Below is some of the range of SunRice product that you will find on your supermarket shelves. Information for the Pacific Program can be found on the back of these packs.

Children Helping Children

From 3 August 2009 primary schools across Australia can play a part in saving lives through UNICEF’s Pacific Vaccination Program. Every blue UNICEF logo collected from a SunRice program pack will assist SunRice to fund additional vaccine doses that will then be distributed through the new infrastructure.

In addition, all logos collected will give your local primary school the opportunity to win $20,000 plus a swim clinic with Stephanie Rice. The school in each state that collects the most blue UNICEF logos from our program packs (per pupil) will win. Make sure your school registers before 14 September 09.

The blue UNICEF logos can be found on 1kg/2kg/5kg/10kg pillow packs of Long Grain, Medium Grain, Jasmine, Basmati, Arborio and Brown Rice. The logos can also be found on upright packs of Basmati, Jasmine, Arborio and Sushi Rice.
